Following the recent retirement of National Coach Phil Sibbons, Korfball Australia is formally calling for expressions of interest from anyone with a desire to be the Head Coach of the National Korfball Team for the 2019 World Korfball Championship in South Africa. This appointment is only for the 2019 World Korfball Championships, with the position able to offered to the incumbent or re-advertised in the lead up to any future tournaments, at the discretion of the Korfball Australia Board.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate an exemplary knowledge of Korfball coaching, including an understanding of current tactical trends in International Korfball. Korfball Australia coaching certificates, or IKF recognised equivalents, will be looked upon favourably, but are by no means a requirement. The successful applicant will also be able to succinctly outline their vision for the National Team, and how they expect that vision to be achieved. As part of the role of National Team Head Coach, the successful applicant will also be tasked with, in conjunction with the Korfball Australia Board, appointing and managing the National High Performance Team.

Only an expression of interest is required at this time, which can be submitted through the form below. A more complete application may be submitted at this time, or may be completed at a later date at the applicants discretion.
