Korfball Australia is pleased to today announce the appointment of Paul Adams to the National Squad Coaching Team as we continue to build towards the 2023 World Korfball Championships. Paul has accepted the position of Regional Assistant Coach, and will manage trainings for the South Australian component of the squad, outside of the training camp calendar.
Paul is someone who likely needs no introduction, as he has been involved in Korfball as a player, coach, referee and administrator, at all levels from club through to international, for longer than most of us have known what Korfball is. To have someone with his experience come on board as an Assistant Coach is a huge win for the Squad, and the sport more generally, and we look forward to seeing the impact Paul will have on the squads development.
Following on from this appointment, regional-squad trainings will start immediately for South Australian based players. Those who’ve expressed an interest in being available for selection have had details communicated. Expressions of interest in joining the squad are still open, and can be completed here. The deadline to complete such an expression of interest is April 30, as training camps are scheduled to commence shortly thereafter.
Welcome Paul, we’re delighted to have you on board, and we pre-emptively thank you for your contributions over the coming months.
