Today, breakfast was at 8 and spirits were high despite a few people feeling under the weather. Once everyone was fed and fueled for the day most of us returned to our rooms for some down time out whilst others went for a walk to the shops.

After a team meeting to discuss yesterdays game against Malaysia, and a briefing for today’s game, everyone rushed to the dining hall in order to score some tables out of the heat (it was nearly 40 degrees). A few of us (mainly Zac and Caitlin) rushed straight for the dwindling cherry bowl whilst the rest of the team get their food. After a hearty meal we had a little more down time before getting ready for the bus ride to the stadium.

The Aussie team were pumped and ready to take down Hong Kong in our third game. After a thrilling first half of the game, scores being 6-4 Aussie way, we lost our lead in the third quarter. Although Hong Kong took home the win, with the final score being 16-10, the team were proud of our overall efforts.

Following the game, we all headed down to the pool to have a recovery session. Zac loves a good game so we also played an intense game of stuck in the mud before dinner. After refuelling our body after a tiring and hot day, we played a few team bonding games. Following this, everyone headed to bed (or analysed the game from today). We are all very keen to take down New Zealand on day 4!!!
