As was announced earlier this month, Korfball Australia will be running a Korfball 4 (K4) competition, from the 20th of October until the 8th of December at Flinders University. More information, including costs and competition rules, can be found on the link above, with a map of the venue location being available on the event page. This competition forms part of the National Squad program (but is still open to players who do not wish to be considered for selection), and if you wish to be in consideration for the National Squad, but cannot participate in this competition (e.g. you live interstate), please contact us.

It is not long now until the competition starts, and in order to ensure that shirts are ready for the first week of competition, please ensure all nominations are completed no later than Tuesday 4th of October. Don’t forget, all players who wish to play must submit a nomination form, not one per team. This includes players who wish to play but do not have a team, and players who have an incomplete team. All nominations by all interested players must be completed by the due date. The nomination form can be found here.

As you may have already read, it has been decided to open up the K4 competition for potential sponsorship. If you know of any organisations which may want to sponsor a player, a team or the entire competition, or if you want a particular organisation to sponsor you or your team, please feel free to direct them to yesterday’s article. As with the player nominations, sponsorship expressions of interest must be in by Tuesday 4th of October. This article also has a preview of what the shirts will look like, for those that are interested.
