Following the recent appointment of Tim Miller to the post of National Coach, Korfball Australia is pleased to announce the re-formation of the National Squad. The first phase of the National Squad is open to all players, aged 16 and over, who are eligible for selection for the 2019 IKF World Korfball Championships, as well as any players seeking development opportunities. This first phase kicks off on Tuesday, 22nd of January (8pm-9:30pm), with a session at Sturt Gymnasium, Flinders University, South Australia, and will continue with weekly Tuesday sessions until the 12th of February. Any Adelaide based players, eligible for selection, are expected to attend at least some of these sessions (recognising the short notice before the first date). A full training calendar between now and the tournament will be made available shortly.

The 2019 IKF World Korfball Championships will be held in Durban, South Africa, from the 1st to the 10th of August. The team will likely depart Australia around the of 29th July and South Africa around the 11th August, confirmation of this will be provided in due course.

For those players unable to make the first phase of training, but who wish to be considered for selection, after filling in the nomination form, Tim will be in touch with his pre-requisites to be available for selection.
