Korfball Australia is pleased to announce the squad for the upcoming World Games Korfball competition, to take place at the WKK Sport Center in Wroclaw, Poland, from the 21st of July to the 25th of July. This puts Korfball front and centre at the World Games, with all matches being played in the first half of the 11 day competition. Australia’s participation is it’s first in a World Games since 2009, after narrowly missing out on qualification in 2013.

Headed by Coach Phil Sibbons and Assistant Coach Craig Miller, the squad blends youth and experience, and is sure to prove a formidable opponent in Wroclaw. The squad, as pictured above, consists of:

Back row: Craig Miller (Assistant Coach), Patrick Branford, Adam Robertson, David Scroggs, Joshua Prasad, Joshua Berney, Daniel Phillips, Phil Sibbons (Coach)

Front row: Bethan Channing, Jessica Crispe, Grace Cullen, Jessica May, Ashlee Othen, Jessica Phillips.

An updated squad list can be found on the National Team page, which will shortly be updated with a full World Games match schedule. Live streaming links will also be published here, once they become available.

Best of luck to the squad, we’ll all be watching at home, and we’re sure you will do us proud.
