The Australian U23 Korfball team has safely arrived in Taiwan for the IKF U23 Asian Oceanian Korfball Championship (IKF U23 AOKC). This tournament is a qualifying tournament for next years U23 World Championships. We wish the U23s all the best, and hope they succeed in their goals.

Since arriving, the team has already been busy, with stadium inspections, trainings and practise games all having gone ahead already. This is very exciting for the players, with many in the team having their first taste of international korfball at this competition. You can keep updated with their going-ons through the Korfball Australia Facebook page (also found on our Home page).

Congratulations must go to Ashlee Othen and Chris Webb, who have been named Captain and Vice-Capitan of the team respectively. This is a great honour, and we congratulate them on their appointment.

To keep up to date with all the happenings, keep an eye on the IKF U23 AOKC event page. This is your one-stop-shop for all information, including game schedules and the newly announced live streaming links.

Additionally, keep an eye on the National Teams page. During the tournament, we will be trialling a new system to bring you up to date results and details of all the matches.

Good luck to the U23 team, we’re sure you will make us proud.
