With the recent developments and announcements from Victoria regarding COVID-19, and in line with established Korfball Australia policy, it has become clear that it is no longer a possibility to hold the currently scheduled National Club Championships, and as such, the tournament has unfortunately been postponed again.

It has been the policy of the Board that a National tournament cannot go ahead without all affiliated bodies being able to attend, which the current situation and restrictions do not permit. This same policy was behind the previous recent postponements, and will continue to be in place for the duration of the pandemic.

Our thoughts are with the Victorian Korfball community, as well as the wider Victorian community, in these trying times. We hope that the restrictions are short-lived, and we look forward to seeing you back on court soon.

The intention of the Korfball Australia Board is to reschedule the National Club Championships to October 2nd and 3rd 2021, which is the Labour Day Long Weekend for most affiliated bodies. This event is planned to be held in Melbourne, in place of another provisionally planned event which had already been slated to be held in Melbourne on those dates. Planning is already well underway, and more specific information on this will be announced at a later date.
