Korfball Australia is pleased to announce that the 2017 National Club Championships will be held at the Victor Harbor Recreation Center. in Victor Harbor, South Australia, on June 10-11. This marks the first time that the National Club Championships has been played in Victor Harbor, and the idyllic seaside town is sure to provide a fantastic backdrop for what is the peak inter-club competition in Australia. With clubs expected to compete from Adelaide as well as the east coast of Australia, the weekend is bound to be a lot of fun for all involved.

The competition will again be fought out over an A Grade and a B Grade competition. Clubs have already been notified, and are hard at work making their preparations. The Blacks will be attempting to defend their A Grade title, while Arista will be hoping to repeat as B Grade champions. However, both teams will have a tough time, with a hungry pack of teams chasing both titles. More information, including a map of the venue location, as well as a timetable (when released) can be found on the event information page. The competition is free to come and watch, and is the best weekend of Korfball action you will find in Australia this year.

As has become tradition, the Korfball Australia AGM will be held on the first day of the National Club Championships (Saturday, June 1o). This year, the President and Secretary board positions are up for re-election, and any nominations for General Members are welcome too. For information on how to nominate, visit the AGM event information page.

Stay tuned for more updates as information comes to hand.
