Korfball Australia are pleased to announce that they will be running a Coaching and Referee Information Session on Sunday, the 25th of February. The session will be held at Club Marion, from 9:30am (a map of the venue can be found on the event page).
This session aims to take advantage of the fact that teams from Sydney and Newcastle are in Adelaide for the Summer Classic, and as such, will be able to reach as many people as possible. Phil Sibbons (National Coach) and Luke Rosie (IKF Referee) will be running through important information for new, current and aspiring coaches and referees. These presenters are as highly credentialed as they come in Australia, both with years of experience at the top of thier fields, and it is rare to be able to run an information session with both of these presentors at once. This session should not be missed by anyone seeking to improve thier specific skill sets, or even just thier general Korfball knowledge. The morning is aiming, weather permitting, to be a practical session, with a half-court set-up, so participants can see and experience the concepts in action.
This session also counts towards any qualification requirements for both the Refereeing and the Coaching certificates issued by Korfball Australia.
If you are planning on attending, please let us know by filling out the form below. We look forward to seeing you there.

Are the coaching and refereeing sessions combined or is it possible to just do the referee part?
Also, how long does the session go for?
The session is a single combined one as far as I know.
The session is only likely to go for a couple of hours, its certainly not an all day thing.
