The schedule for the upcoming 2018 Asia-Oceania Korfball Championships has been updated following the forced withdrawal of Sri Lanka from the tournament. Major flooding and landslides caused by heavy monsoonal rains has hit Sri Lanka in recent weeks, and these events have directly impacted a number of players and officials from the team. Our thoughts are with the Sri Lankan Korfball community at this difficult time, we wish them all the best, and we look forward to seeing them at the next iteration of the tournament.

Due to this withdrawal, the schedule for the tournament has been updated. Teams in Pool A (including Australia) will now receive a bye during the pool rounds. As Australia were scheduled to play their first match against Sri Lanka, Australia will now open their campaign a day later, against Korea on July 30. This match is in primetime for viewing in Australia, with the game kicking off at 7:30PM ACST. All viewing options will be announced as soon as the information becomes available.

Due to one less match being played on each pool round matchday, some match times have changed. All changes can be found on the National Team page, where the schedule has been updated. More changes may yet be made to the cross-over and ranking matches to account for the uneven number of teams, and any updates around these matches will be brought to you as soon as they come to hand.
